A little about me

Architecture begins
with people.

Thinking by making.

I’m Mayar, an architecture student at the University of Houston’s Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design.

I’m interested in how spaces can support learning, healing, and connection. Through drawing, digital visualization, and physical models, I explore the relationships between people, light, and landscape.

My interest in design began with baking: a first lesson in creativity, adaptation, and problem solving. Today, that same curiosity guides my studio work and has grown through two summer internships with PBK Architects.
